Forums - Sony - Does Sony Cater To Arrogant Fans?

That's only a generalization, we are all different.
The society can hardly be explained through generalizations

True. I've been saying this forever. The Sony community is one of the most diverse ive ever seen.

I enjoy PS console and PS games just like any other gamers out there but being an arrogant fanboy is just like a macho thing.

I guess being Sony fan is kind of like being a Yankee fan.

People hate you, call you arrogant, call you spoiled, hate when you hype up your players, etc...

In the end they are just haters and wish their teams would spoil them in the same ways.

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.

Currently playing:

Final Fantasy VI (iOS), Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (iOS) & Dragon Quest V (iOS)

Got a retro room? Post it here!

Easy one to answer actually:

Sony fans are arrogant

Microsoft fans are childish/arseholes

Nintendo fans are delusional

All true!!

"We don't provide the 'easy to program for' console that [developers] want, because 'easy to program for' means that anybody will be able to take advantage of pretty much what the hardware can do, so then the question is what do you do for the rest of the nine-and-a-half years?" (Kaz Hirai. 2009)

must be one of the dumbest things Kaz ever said.

You're doing it wrong. You need to do it like this:

ARE Sony fans arrogant???

ARE Microsoft fans childish/arseholes???

ARE Nintendo fans delusional???

By doing that, you're just asking very deep, thought provoking questions that'll result in constructive discussions about video games. Totally not trolling.

Exactly, being with Sony is like being the member of a winning team. They always do something to keep themself at least in the top two every gen. Two out of three generations is better than the competition imho and Sony had tougher competition than Nintendo had against Sega.

I don't understand what your point is. You said other companies do this 2,and again what's your point? Of course there going to play up there brand. I could probably find just as many quotes from microsoft and other companies playing up there brand if I wasn't so lazy!!!!! What are they supppose to say? um,sony products are okay, they get the job done. lol Business is a cut-throat world. Being humble gets you stomped on.

Okay mr anal, in that case you are missing out the MSX and PSX, and a bunch of other small computers sony has produced.

MSX wasnt really PlayStation branded as far as I am aware.  And PSX wasn't a handheld as far as I am aware unless Im mixing it up with something else.

As for calling me Mr Anal, im not really sure if that was necessary and a really poor choice of words.

What about pocketstation?

And maybe, one of the most true.
