Though I do agree with the last sentence sorta, I really want them to make like an RPG or something way out there for themselves.  

Ill admit i havnt played thorught the games completely but thats because i lost interests. NG needs to prove to me that can make a real game not a hybrid movie / game. If they can do what Rare use to do back in the day under Nintendo, and we all know what ever games Rare made if it was a fighter in Killer Instinct or a FPS in Perfect Dark to a Platformer in Banjo Kazoori, all masterpieces then ill start looking into NG games. For now NG havnt proved well in the Platforming genra as Jak is avg (no Offence) but if they can make a RPG and it works out to be better then FF then im in. 


Sigh...uncharted is a real gam...pleas.e the gameplay is better then almost any action game this gen. You clearly don;t know what you are talking about.  Again, havign good stroy ddoes nto NEgate a game bneing a great game...typical trolling.

 

There is a tonne of great game in uncharted..........

2) Metal Gear Solid, DMC, InFamous... not UC

3) Can't open Drake's Journal? Have trouble recognizing shapes? Can't read ingame hints? Deary me.

1) I would like to see your attitude towards using cover if you got in a gunfight in the real world.

2) I wouldn't choose any of these games over UC. I loved the original MGS (one of my top 3 games ever), but starting with the MGS2 the plot got so crazy that I can no longer hold the series in a higher regard.

4) What is annoying about you is that you cannot accept that UC games are incredible games, some of the absolutely best games of the entire generation and that you just don't fancy them. No. You can't accept that and you just have to keep talking crap about them, saying that they are overrated, that ND had to fool people into playing them, etc. You may have your opinion about the games, you may not like them, the problem is that you are the one denying other people their opinion (or rather - forcing your opinion on the whole gaming world) and it just happens so that these "other people" happen to be the majority of gamers counted in millions, while you are the odd one and you should respect it.

For me Uncharted is exactly the type of game I love most. TPP game, story driven, linear, with good characters, a plot set in the real world about discovering secrets and mysteries from the ancient world - everything I expect from the perfect dream game! I can't say a single bad thing about UC so far (haven't played them all yet though). This is the perfect type of game for me though. Uncharted: Golden Abyss happens to be my favourite Vita game as well.

 

@Impertinence - we are excited, because ND hasn't made a bad game since the original Playstation. Crash has defined the Playstation and had Sony not lost the rights to him (how!? Just how did they do that!?) it would still be the official Sony mascot competing with Mario. Crash kart game was the best competition Mario Kart ever had. They made 4 games this gen. UC1 was the best reason to get a PS3 in the early part of its life, while UC2/UC3/TLoU are all candidates for the game of the generation, pushing the boundaries of their genre.

They have made legendary platformers, great racers and mind-blowing TPP games. No matter what they made, it was always gold. This causes everyone to expect that whatever they make is going to be huge. MS hasn't got a single studio that comes close to it, on the Nintendo side they could be compared to Retro, though obviously they are far more advanced (Retro is just making the jump to HD) and bigger (2 teams on ND). Retro is pretty much a small ND :)

Not really. In fact, I don't really care if you like it or not - like it, then like it. I just keep replying because people are consistently disputing and saying that my opinion is wrong - and an opinion can't be wrong. I agree with the fact that ND can make a quality game, and so far, all of which I've played (all Crash games, some Jaks, UC1-2) have been made with care and (mostly) attention to details, just the latter ones are absolutely not for me for various reasons stated above and all I've said about them is my opinion. But we're obviously on very different sides of the barricade, seeing the rest of your post. 

@Hynad: Yeah, because SHMUPS are Action/Adventure games are the same thing! 2/10, try again.

Uncharted games average around 5mill in terms of Sales, if the games that good then i would have expected more PS fans to have brought these games. Call me out all you want, there are plenty of people like myself that dont find them interesting.

When it comes to Jak and Daxter. The first game is superb but having recently played 2 and 3 from PSN. Well, I did not enjoy them at all, they'd completely lost of the first game's platformer charm and the Jak 3, the first 3 or 4 missions (shouldn't be missions in a plaformer) were all racing/vehicle sections. That is not the what I wanted at all and it put me off hugely. I have no desire to play those games anymore.

But to say NG haven't proved themselves in the plaforming genre means you know don't know much about gaming and I'm presuming are too young to remember the PS1 era? 28 your profile says? Riiiight.

You don't have a next gen, you just have the next graphics card upgrade, bro. Hate to break it to you and as much as I love how things look on the PC, outside of the PC world you wait for console games to take their forward steps so you don't have play lackluster games and further invest in consoles. This gen had many of them, so you know what I am talking about *cough*Rage*cough*. Sometimes you have the few games like almost anything that Bethesda or Bioware makes that play the way they should opposed to the console and those I think twice about even playing a console game on. Games are meant to be played if you don't like them, leave them be. The games that I critique, I have the highest chance of playing.

MS have studios like Rare who owns bigger franchises then ND. 343 Studios makes 1 of the greatest FPS game in the world, i wouldnt even want to compare Nintendo games to ND because i can tell you Nintendos third tier franchises are prob in the same bracket as ND games. Im not a fan of niether console but ND seems to be getting this hype about them like there the greatest company in the world.. I wouldnt put ND above Nintendo, Valve or Blizzard, and its a toss up if ND are better then Retro and 343.

ND accolades their last 3 games are unmatched in the industry..........Another strawman, nonsensical argument to deflect. How much mroe will uyou keep changing the goal posts? They have won more idustry awards then any of those studios you mentioned. Only valve are up there with ND of the oens you listed.

 

They earned their reputation, sounds like someone is a big defensive as Nd is not on their platform of choice.
