You don't care about Zelda and Ratchet and Clank?!

Heavy Rain was the only Sony game I cared much for. God of War was ok and Uncharted was average. I liked Forza, Halo, and Gears. Didn't play Nintendo stuff last gen.

Speaking purely from a 360 perspective here, as i have done 95% of my gaming this gen on that platform.

My joint fave GOTG were both made by third parties. (Dead Rising 1 & Ninja Gaiden 2: Blood Edition).

Breakdown of genres, and my fave for this gen.........

FPS of the gen.......... COD4. (Honourable Mention: Halo 3)

Sandbox......... Dead Rising (Honourable: Saints Row 2)

TPS....... Gears 3 (Honourable: Binary Domain)

Platformer..... Sonic Generations (Honourable: Rayman Origins)

Sports......... Virtua Tennis 3 (Honourable: PGA Tour '10)

Hack 'n Slash...... Ninja Gaiden 2 (Honourable: Bayonetta)

Racing..... Sonic & All Stars Racing: Transformed (Honourable: Forza 3)

Action-Adventure...... Tomb Raider (Honourable: Hitman: Absolution)

RPG........ not my cup of tea this genre (Deus Ex passes as an RPG apparently, so its in a class of its own)

RTS......... not in a million years, can't stand this genre.

Music & Rhythm....... only played one game, Guitar Hero 3 (Excellent song list for the most part, has to be said)

Fighting........ Street Fighter IV (Honourable: Mortal Kombat)

and XBLA....... Double Dragon: Neon (Honourable: Mark of The Ninja)

Only Exclusive that won ANY category was Gears 3. (and thats not even first party)

Dead Rising 1 is exclusive to 360 (i know theres the Gimped Wii version out there too, but come on) however, the franchise is very much Capcoms.

Sums it up really, overall 3rd party games still very much rule the roost for me.

this gen only liked uncharted DF only uncharted 2s MP even though i hyped the hell out of uncharted 2 on here, the last of us, and i also enjoyed the PSN exclusive dead nation. i should probably get into god of war and killzone i think ill have more luck with god of war even though im viewed and prefer sony i actually like more MS exclusives than sony hopefully more sony exclusives release this gen that im interested but im perfectly fine with the variety from 3rd partys

I tend to like mainly nintendo exclusives....each gen I tend to play my playstation (insert number here) more than my nintendo consoles but in most cases I play 3rd party games, but Im a big fan of zelda and mario games (as in the platform games not the various spinoffs) and metroid, as well as other related nintendo games.

I'm pretty much the same.  Love those Nintendo franchises, but I don't think I've ever owned a first/second party game from Sony (never had xbox). Despite that, I quite like my PS3.

Nintendo and Sony I probably like MOST of their stuff but my indifference towards JRPG and racing sims most likely keeps it below 80%. Though 20 out of 25 of my boxed retail games are PS3 exclusive (including HD collections). I also have Journey, Flower, Unfinished Swan, Infamous Festival of Blood, and LBP2 digital. My Plus games probably even out the equation but many of those I wouldn't have gotten without them being free (still an awesome value with all the ones I DO like that I've gotten on there). I also plan on picking up Puppeteer, KH HD, and Ratchet Nexus this year and my first PS4 games to download will be Contrast and Resogun. Killzone will be the only retail exclusive with Knack most likely coming at Christmas.

For Nintendo I have Smash, SS, Mario Galaxy 1 and 2, DKCR, and the exclusive virtual console games. Everything is Nintendo first party because they don't have 3rd party support really. I don't care what percentage I have of it (especially considering they're dividing resources with handhelds) if most of the games I've paid for are exclusive they're a big selling point.
