Want to see what the settings screen of a Xbox One development unit looks like? A snapshot has just been posted on twitter by Tom Warren for our perusal. You can check it out above.

Warren also gave his personal opinion on the responsiveness and speed of the whole UI.

"Overall I’ll say the Xbox One dash is fast. Snapping apps like IE is super quick and you can have a YouTube video at side of a game."

From the snapshot above, that has been taken at an Area One event, the UI definitely looks pretty sleek, even if a bit colorless. We’ll have to wait and see if the final version will have more color.

Everytime I hear about how you can use the snap mode, it gets even more attractive, especially for someone who likes to multitask while watching TV or gaming.

The older you get, the more you feel like you need to do more things at one time or else you're wasting your time. I have a big backlog of games, but I also love to watch TV. I always end up watching TV more, because so many good shows. Same thing with Netflix. Gaming gets pushed back. Now I can do both at the same time. Snap is awesome. Sacrificing some resolution to have this feature is OK by me. The screen is going to be smaller anyways when I'm snapping.

Agree in full :). The thing is, X1 will now also be like the new tablet for kids with everything you can do, so my brothers son will probably snap TV when we play games just because he wants to watch a kids program or something :P.

My Dad I like to watch things like The Kentucky Derby together. Being about to snap in Skype would be really nice, even-though we are hundreds of miles apart.

I remember when snap came to Windows 7. I was surprised how much I used it.
