Forums - Microsoft - Ryse: Son of Rome Season Pass Offers Big Savings on Future Multiplayer Content

Eh, I'll put this on the wait and see list. If I end up liking the MP as much as ME3's (Ryse's MP is only coop right?) then I'll probably buy this. And that's of course, assuming I'll actually get the game in the first place.

These are basically meant to trick you. I should stress that I am not speaking out here against Crytek, but rather against season passes. They tempt you almost before the game comes out with some free stuff and discounts, to get you to pay almost 50% extra for some minor bonus content which often has not been announced or even made clear.

I've fallen for a couple and regretted them every time. I tend to do my best to avoid buying DLC

I try to wait for a game of the year edtion of a game, so it will have all the DLC included or wait for a Steam package. I have so many games on backlog that I have time to wait.

Yeah, that's the way we all want it to happen, but it rarely works like that.... In the UK, if you wait just a few weeks to a month, you can generally get 25%+ off the launch price, but I am just so impatient in the most part

I am, however, still waiting for the Mass Effect 3 DLC to go on sale on be bundled

Yeah, that's another reason why I tend not to buy season passes. Only if I truly love a game will I go ahead and get it.
