I would rather exhaustingly search for my weapons than buy them with horrible rupees and other monies.

But that's not going to be how it works either. You'll get a sword (maybe two or three), a bow, and then that's your arsenal really. "Treasure" would be rupees, collectibles (e.g pieces of heart). the odd empty bottle etc.

I disagree. The very core of Zelda is the Master Sword and the Hero's Bow, wearing a green tunic. Producing more weapons, copious amounts or armour etc. will make it just like any other WRPG on the market.

Sure you can have small alterations (biggoron sword for example) but producing hundreds of weapons and different weapons classes won't make it "Zelda" anymore.
