3DS news of 02/06/2014: Sale numbers for the week ending May 24th (AKA before MK8)

  • Hardware and Software numbers are just in! The 3DS sold 82k units (a drop of 3%), it's first week below 100k since, I guess, early 2013. And it sold just over 400k units of software. Pokemon XY maintains the top spot with (still) over 40k units, followed by Kirby with 39k units, and then Yokai Watch with 31k units. And just before the Top 30 comes Pro Evo soccer 2014 with 18k units and MK7 with 17k units sold. Then we find games like AC: NL, Mario Golf, Yoshi's New Island, NSMB2, Mario Party, 3D Land, and Luigi's Mansion. Pokemon B2/W2 are still there .-.
  • And for the Wii U, it sold 34k units (an increase of 13%), but only 151k units of software. It's best selling games were, as usual, NSMBU with 21k units and NSLU with 15k units. Below the Top 30 we have 3D World, Nintendo Land, Wii Party U, and (sadly, in this order) Tropical Freeze. And in other, Nintendo Land has hit 3 million units!
  • Natsume has many announces for E3!
  • Here's Twitch E3 schedule, with many unannounced titles from well, everybody, but this is NintyNation so from Nintendo!
  • New titles for Sonic Boom, details, and (hopefully you guys can see it) gameplay footage!
  • And here are some details for the treehouse event!

f u use current Wii U Sales u just can get the projection for today, and it looks like the got the numbers right for current Wii U sales (that means FW...)

Same here, but thankfully it's over and done with, so now I can play Mario Kart 8 again!
