Tee up as Mario for some Mario Golf in real life

Satoru Iwata said earlier this year the company was looking to ‘actively expand‘ it’s character licensing to more companies and formats. Perhaps this new golf club bag could be a part of that?

Available (in Japan of course) from August 1st for the low price for $904 US you could have this pretty swanky looking golf club holder ball holder thing.

No seriously this Golf Club Bag does look pretty amazing. There’s stars for zippers, stitched on Mario logo and even the tag to put your name on it is a mushroom. Mario’s face is even on the top along with ‘Here we go!’ text.

Now all you’d need is some sort of Mario (Golf) Kart?

Wii U news of 15/04/2014: [Title goes ←] (What am I doing with my life?)

Global HW and SW for the 1st week of April are up! The 3DS sold over 111k units (23% down from last week), and the Wii U 34k units (17% down), all because of the tax increase in Japan! The 3DS sold 545k units of SW globally, while the Wii U is a the bottom of the charts with 203k units. For the 3DS we see Mario Party selling 58k units, Pokemon X/Y with 48k, Yoshi with 34k, and AC with 22k; followed by MK7, PL vs PW, NSMB2, and more. And for the Wii U there are games like NSMBU (which sold 20k units), DK, Just Dance U (Launched in Japan), 3D World, and a couple more. A Link Between Worlds has reached 2 million units, Lego City 3DS has sold over 1 million, WWHD is close to 0.9 million. 3D World should reach 2 million next week!
