Wii U (and just some for 3DS) news of 09/04/2014: What a long night will this be...

  • Worldwide Software and Hardware, week ending 29th March: For 3DS it was a not great, but not bad week! It sold 146k units WW, an increase of 21%. While in SW, it sold 705K units of games WW. But individually, it was all about legs... Mario Party sold 86k units (660k LTD), then Pokemon with 51k, Yokai Watch with 47k (with 665k LTD... may I remind you this is still Japan only!), Yoshi's New Island 45k, New Love + 32k, PL vs PWAT 31k, and closing the Top 30, AC: NL with 26k. Then, there are games like MK7, NSMB2, 3D Land, Kirby, and others. And for the Wii U... It was a not so horrible week. It sold 41k units WW, an increase of 5%. In SW, things are not looking good, with only 199k units of games WW. Individually, there are no games in the Top 30, so there's not much to note. Games like NSMBU (bundled), Tropical Freeze, 3D World, NSLU (also bundled, but much lower...), and Wii Party U (guess what?) are found in the lower side of the Top 75 charts!
  • Here are many screenshots of SSB Wii U and SSB 3DS.
  • [I don't know why there weren't threads about this...] Media Create: Now that the Tax in Japan is higher, everything is down! 3DS sold 32k units, and Wii U 8k units! But hey, PS4 sold only 13k >:} In SW, MP (47k units) and Yokai Watch (24k units) dominated, while Just Dance Wii U entered at #5 with 18k units sold!
  • There's a SteamWorld Dig sequel planned...
  • The Last of Us, rema--- WHOOPS! Wrong company!
  • The first SSB4 analysis is out! It's all about Greninja!

    2/10, because I dislike Smash Bros, the Wii U version's delay was a moronic move, and they could have at least mentioned other games, like release windows for Hyrule Warriors or Bayonetta 2.
