After seeing IGN's coverage of Mario Kart 8, it has me wanting a Wii U now. Weird I know since I've never played any other Mario games before. Looks like it's time to put the Wii U on my to buy list.

Dude the game is hardly different from Wii or 7 from what the vids show. Its really all about learning the courses and finding my char/bike combo

Dude, I was obviously just messing around! Although I definitely see key differences, like the heavy emphasis on multi-paths and only one item at a time, overall increased strategy.
