Your E3 timer reminded me that we might not be to far off of an official by Nintendo.
What will Nintendo do: a ND like in 2013 or another DE like last year? Will they add anything to last year's events (Smash tournament and TreeHouse live) or will they add anything new this year?

Very important questions, if i may add! :)

Personally, i'm expecting another Digital Event with some fun moments.
Overall i expect all the stuff we saw last year to return plus a surprise or two. Maybe a Splatoon/MK 8 tournament...

I hope this time, it's fast paced throughout.
Also ......no announcements saved for the treehouse. Unless of course that will generate enough hype/interest for even more views after the initial digital event.

If Nintendo goes back and does "only" a Direct, then they are dumb.

My guess is that it will be another Digital Event (nice way to call what basically is a Direct), paired with TreeHouse live demos. I don't see them making a tourney like last year, but they could host several mini tournaments (one each day) with several of their games like Mario Kart, Smash and mostly Splatoon.

??? Was it really a scarce launch? I'm not going to buy it myself, remember that back when it released it didn't interest me much.
