It looks like you've got your answer, but you get the promo code from your 3DS and a game, register them on your Nintendo Club account, wait 24 hours, return, click on the new logo, then boot up the eShop (if you can!) and go to "other settings", "redeem promo code", whack your code in and hey presto!

Franchise revived next? Freakin Eternal Darkness god dammit! As long as Nintendo's going all out Gamecube mode like they've seemed to have been doing, might as well take the GOOD aspects of it!

Also, F-Zero, perhaps a collaboration by Sega again, I REALLY enjoyed GX.. Sure it was hard but I mastered the damn game so it couldn't have been THAT hard! And make it online. The levels of epic would be off the charts..

Eternal Darkness, eh? Good suggestion! Never completed the first game, but what I did was most enjoyable and new. It was an experience, that's for sure!
