It was the biggest Nintendo game ever until Smash U came out. Still 2nd biggest I believe.

Do you have the 8GB Wii U or the 16? I haven't run into this problem yet, but I go for physical games over retail..
It does seem to fill up really fast since DLC does take up quite a bit of space and larger games do have a large file size.
An external hard drive will be able to store extra data without having the need to transfer, as far as I know.

Okay so I'm rewatching the direct and I just noticed how...odd Lucas' introduction is. Just the way Iwata makes sure it's known that he's from Mother 3 and it was only released in Japan. As if they plan on bringing it over or something.

I have the 32 GB. I deleted some VC titles to make room for Dk and now I only have 876 MB. I have a digital Smash and its update earlier this year, MK8 DLC, Nettflix, Hulu, and Youtube app installed too.
As long as I can save dlc, save data, and other games to an external hard drive without accessing data management, I'll be fine. Everything else on my Wiii U works okay.
Some of you guys already know this but I'm out of town this weekend (have been the past couple days Infact) so won't be able to update much. My apologies, but if you still wish to play Pokemon then go ahead

Actually, locking down its home would help with that. I bet a lot of sales were lost or came late because of uncertainty concerning where the franchise would appear next. If it were locked in as a Nintendo platform exclusive, at least people could confidently purchase the platform they know it will be on.

True. And the only thing Nintendo has advertised enough is MK8. They should do that for every major game. Even Smash didn't get as frequent ads.
