Not including the boss minigames, I think that we went through about 5 minigames in about 6 or 7 turns so I feel that it improved since getting a minigame in MP9 felt rare at times.  I feel that there's more minigame spots to land on or we just got lucky while playing.  Still not as many as the older titles though.  I'll need to play more though to really get a good grasp on the average minigame count but those are just my current experiences.

I think the deal with MP10 is that there are random minigame spaces on the board but if you don't land on one during a full rotation of turns, the game's like "HEY! Here's a minigame since you guys can't seem to land on the right space!" So you're guaranteed to play one each round, which is nice.

I've played MP10 a good bit in the last few days. I've noticed that it has quite a bit of replay value, as well. Aside from the fact that it's a multiplayer-focused game so it has infinite replay value from that, there are also challenges you can complete, you can buy certain things like characters, carts and music from the shop, you can take a bunch of pictures of characters with different poses and backgrounds and there are bonus games as well, including a minigame tournament.

As for the base game, I actually really enjoy it. The minigames are super fun, and not a whole lot of them seem to be based on luck. The boards themselves are like MP9 where you're in the same car, but there is strategy to what you do (unlike what some people have been saying) seeing as though you get different dice blocks throughout the game and they do different things (slow dice block basically lets you choose how many spaces, 0-1 dice block will prevent you from going very far, etc.). Amiibo party and Bowser party are really nice additions and they freshen things up a bit also.

Overall, I recommend it to anyone who enjoys party games (unless you just absolutely despised MP9, then if amiibo party doesn't look like a saving grace, avoid this one) and creative uses of the gamepad.

It could be worse. You could have my team.

Now I'm curious.  What is your team?

In all honesty I can't remember them all, but it includes Tyranitar, Shuckle, and Charizard. Might check a little later.

Don't underestimate those pokemon, i once defeated a Mega Kangaskhan with an OFFENSIVE Shuckle, ok that i won because it was a completely unexpected move, but this is part of the strategy.

I once defeated a friend in Pokémon by unplugging the link cable and telling him to go f**k himself.

He couldn't have been more defeated.

What's with the poll, Cone? You'll always be in charge.

Bet with bluedawgs: I say Switch will outsell PS4 in 2018, he says PS4 will outsell Switch. He's now permabanned, but the bet will remain in my sig.
