And Japanese box art:

Wow. That is one pretty box...more games need to have boxart like that rather than big muscly man with a gun.

Uh... that OP might confuse some people. Unless you actually intend to bring the tournament mode back.

I'm not sure really. Didn't work too well last time so let's stick to groups.

Tournament mode = groups, if I recall correctly.

Everyone joining a friend who has created a room was the most consistent way of organizing a tournament. If we used groups there would be no need to send you a friend request.

It should be noted that as a consequence of its less open world, Bayo 2 runs above 30fps the vast majority of the time, whereas I'm fairly certain XCX won't exceed 30fps.

XCX still impresses me more overall thanks to its sheer scope and detail, but Bayo 2 does have better character models and likely a performance advantage too.

I noticed framerate drops in Bayo 2. I'd rather have a stable 30 fps. If this was made by Nintendo it would've been 60 fps without any drops.

I noticed them too, but I'm willing to bet it will still have a higher fps average than XCX. Again, only because it's not running a vast open world, but still, this ability to concentrate its rendering power does give it some advantages, even if XCX is the better overall hardware showcase.

Bayo definitely has the better character models, for example.

You make a valid point. It's been months since I last played MK8 online so I can't really remember (mixing up MK7 and 8 no doubt).

I suppose the simplest thing is that I'll create a room at 10:30 and then you guys all come join me. That's basically it.

Every game has better characters than xbx, but that's such a small part of the game.

Excluding the character models from XCX, Bayonetta 2 still looks better and more polished.

Just look at the blurry textures in when they zoomed on some characters talking out in the field in the latest direct, which makes sense since the Wii U is the weakest of this gen and the game is huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge. Looks great overall, it's just that one scene really made me unable to concentrate on the Japanese characters talking.

I don't think XCX will be below 90% anyway though.

Bayo 2 has plenty of blurry textures as well and none of the detail of xbx. A couple of places look really nice, but that's about it.

XenobladeCX is more detaled, thanks to it's open world. The smaller  less detailed backgournds look just as good as XCX , but most  (smaller) areas look better in Bayonetta 2 imo.

So true. Those games always have generic box art (to represent the generic games underneath). Rodea has beautiful artwork. It's so whimsical.
