Hero mode completed and...it was a bit underwhelming to be honest. Was expecting a larger difference in the ending screen or some bonus goodie. All in all, it's just the same thing as the main game with 4x damage from enemies, that's all.

Breezed through it in less than 8 hours, collecting everything except the 50 streetpass medals. Once you know the order of dungeons to tackle to maximize your Master Sword, Maimai collection and Armor, the game gets too easy even on Hero mode.

That was my fear with being able to do it in any order you choose. It's a difficult balance to get right, that's for sure.

Still, 8 hours seems incredibly short, even if you do know what you're doing :/

Indeed it is. Hero mode starts much slower than the regular playthrough since basically anything can one-shot you. But since Heart Pieces are ridiculously easy to acquire (you can get the 12 Heart Pieces in Hyrule pre-1st trip to Lorule in less than 30 minutes) and since you can get 3 Bottles in the same amount of time, everything just becomes streamlined and manageable.

Probably the shortest LoZ in recent times, even for a top-down one.

Excited for some of the new games to come out.

Hmm, it does seem a bit on the simple side from what I've heard. What a shame, but I know it'll be good fun while it lasts!
