Honestly, there should not be a Mario Warriors game, seriously. Stop shoving Mario everywhere Nintendo, don't agree with Tecmo if that's the series they want to do next.

Fire Emblem is the obvious choice. Not sure how Pokemon would work. I think Kid Icarus would do great too.

But I'd like them to try Metroid in a couple of years.
A sci-fi Warriors (or....Marines) game has not been done before with alien tech and shooty things and other stuff. Plus Samus and the Hunters would be great to play as!

For Tecmo it's obvious why they want to do it. If the Zelda musou sold so well, what would happen with a Mario musou?

But I agree with you, Nintendo should say no to this.

I think there's potential to actually make it a fun game.

Mario has a lot of worlds, enemies and power-ups to make it a dynamic and fun game and given that the mario franchise and the zelda franchise are two different worlds, they could turn out to be different Warrior games. Maybe even a 2.5D game with 3D moments for the special attacks.

Is it wrong that I want a Nintendo Beat em up featuring amiibo support? Kinda like Castle Crashers. 4 player with online or 1 player with up to 3 amiibos you can level up and make stronger? And I know it is dumb but it would be funny to have an amiibo only mode where you pit your amiibos against each other in a battle arena.

Whoever runs the Retro Studios Twitter page needs to act more professional.
