Today is Nov 1, the day that all Atlus staff are officially under Sega management. Sega has put out a press release announcing that they are renaming the company from the temporary name "Sega Dream" to "Index", which is the original name of the they bought over.

The President of Index is Naoya Tsurumi, the Vice-President is Yasuhiro Hamada, and curiously enough Toshihiro Nagoshi is one of the company directors.

I hope nothing changes at Atlus .

I dont think it will but bad news says SEGA cutting down on packaged titles has now reached Japan. I was thinking if SEGA going digital means they get comfortable doing things with old IP's and trying new ones it might not be that bad.

I don't mind as long as Atlus keeps on sending us good games! I hope they release them outside of Japan, wasn't SEGA kinda picky on what titles they bring to the states?

Yakuza 4 could have been really awesome, if they handt completly destroyed the story...

i mean really nothing of the story made sense and why cant a yakuza just be a yakuza?? why does he have to be a hero??

im not saying yakuza is respectable, but in a game why cant a person be true to what he is?? it would make a much better and much more interesting story, because you can actually believe it??

And what about the megalomaniac story with the police and the underground city. I mean the game could have been so huge if it were at least a tiny bit realistic.

Nagoshi will now only send HD collections to Wii U.
