Ok, ars technica bringing the " just sit further " thing...Pathetic
Predictions for end of 2014 HW sales:
PS4: 17m XB1: 10m WiiU: 10m Vita: 10m
I'm on the Ars Technica side. I'm one of those who would be perfectly happy with either version.

Lol other article from ars technica : http://arstechnica.com/gadgets/2012/10/1080p-on-a-smartphone-screencan-it-possibly-matter/
So it does matter to get 1080p on 4,3' smartphone , but it doesnt on 50' Tv

So it is matter to read a e-book and to play a game not... lol.
Resolution only matters when 360 games are better than their PS3 counterpart.
PS4 resolution vs XBone means nothing.
The gaming press is acting really weird. Also, what is up with Ars? Of all the sites on the net I would never expect them to be saying this. Don't they do benchmarking all the time?
iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.

Actually the "resolution importance" problem is just a formulation to hide the real problem, that is the fact that Microsoft is selling a 100$ more console that is widely less powerful than its direct competitor..
Alright so resolution doesn't matter. What's the excuse going to be when we get multiplats with worse lighting, draw distance, textures, AA, framerate and/or object detail on xbox one? None of that matters either?
How about when you don't get soft body dynamics or GPGPU fluid dynamics systems like in Deep down where a fireball can be accurately dissipated or redirected with a tornado spell?
Things like that are going to be problematic on XB1.

46" 6~8... but just because I game on the main room... when I finally make my gaming room I will probably have a 60"~80" 4K and will be glued to the screen (will be as far as I barely see the edges).

Azzanation: "PS5 wouldn't sold out at launch without scalpers."
I'll be honest with you - I fail to see any big difference.
What would Ars say when doing a comparison between (2) different GPUs and one was superior AND cheaper?
Would they really say it is a non issue?
