Yeah, the account system is long overdue. :/ It better be the best account system ever to make up for the wait.

Still wish publishers would give some insight on digital numbers.

And snuggle the girls be they short or tall,
Then follow young Mat whenever he calls,

Actually this is extremely impressive and good financially for Nintendo, as it means less expense and more of the profit. I still like my games from retail though. Might get Ghosts digital just because I play it all the time and don't want to swap discs, but that's about it.

I am glad for Nintendo that its doing well for them, for me though I only buy retail. I need the physical copies in my Hands

If I do get a handheld (would most likely be 3DS for Pokemon) I would go all digital. Even if I get Vita the PS+ deals would get me to go that way.

Digital download of games is a heaven sent, unless you somehow plan to resell your games I see absolutely no upside to buying a physical copy. No discs to swap, no discs to scratch, no sales tax, immediate delivery and for a month or so still 5% bonus money back to use on indie games.

Fuck you physical game disc.

At least in Latin America, almost everyone I know buys games digitally (3DS, Wii U, PS3, PC, whatever). Might not be huge numbers but they are something. Add the the numbers in the U.S, Canada and Europe and you have big percentages.

those are already added. eshop for latinamerica is not available. everyone have a US or Canadian account because of that.

Reason why eshop is not available for those countries? too many useless different coins.

Mexico and Brazil (I think) have their own eshop. I know people who buy from the Mexico eshop.

But I know what you mean, I use the Canada eshop for instance.

Nintendo and PC gamer

I am still a sucker for having to have a box that has the game with a disc and manual, but now Nintendo is starting to get rid of the manuals with their games. :(

I might switch to going all digital when I get a hard drive for it, though for now I still like my boxes.
