Good review! I am currently playing New Super Luigi U (I have the retail version) and so far I like it a lot. I will be picking this up before Super Mario 3D World!

The game would've been harder if lives weren't so easy to get.
Love this game. The best one in the "NSMB" series. I haven't played the 3DS one though.

Have you played the New Super Luigi U? I find it quite challenging. If you are trying to get all the coins then it gets ever harder.
Also in the main game when you die. You can see people's miiverse posts about how challenging the levels are. Not everyone can be as good as forum dwellers. So they have to keep all these things in mind.
I feel it is the best in the series as well. Still haven't played Super Luigi though.

Neither. No one has ever won in an arguement with you. I'd like to see you vs stage. My enjoyment of the "games" is not effected by what you think of them. If that was so i would barely enjoy anything. This is getting off topic.

xD Cant say I disagree with you haha
@OP As for NSMBU I personally didnt care for it. Bought it at launch and found it to be too easy. My favorite Side Scroller for the last few years has been BattleBlock Theatre and Rayman Origins (Havent played Legends yet)
But NSMBU does have some of the best input for sidescrollers too. Just the difficulty and no online multiplayer was my only problems with it. That and I feel burned out on Mario for now.
