Aside from the 50% resolution differerence, significant framerate drops, and bad aliasing, the two versions are identical from what I can see. Even the sounds were pretty much the same.

You mean, framerate differences are not important in a SHOOTER game.. particularly in action loaded scenes. Good luck in an mp match then.
And it certainly won't help the framerate if they still have to add computational stuff to the code....
Watched the video - could not tell much of a difference.
Maybe I am too old for this, but who the *beeeep* cares about slightly better textures or higher resolution during gameplay. I am all for a technical progress, but when there is a discussion going on about which version looks better, you know that it is getting ridiculous.
I bet I could change the name of the console in the corner of the video and the same people would change their minds with it.
My prediction, that the technical gap between PS4 and Xbox One will be the smallest one ever is getting better and better.
Imagine not having GamePass on your console...
I notice hte xbox one version seems to have much better textures, there are aliasing issues however and there arent missing clouds they are just much lighter in certain caps for some reason.
If the FPS drops in a scene I have no control over but stays over 30 who cares.

The smallest gap between a Sony and Microsoft console or what do you mean? Cause I'm pretty sure the gap is bigger than PS3/360.

Am I the only one who think these look identical? Maybe even the X1 better? I can see the PS4 having an edge on my 65" due to the higher resolution, but neither one of these stands out as leaps and bounds better.

Technical gap is smaller than ps3-360 where the resolutions were almost always the same and the framerate differences were 2-3 FPS at best, while we see 50% more pixels and 40% better framerate between ps4-xbox1. Some people really live in a fantasy world.

Well, the black dude seems to have hair in the Xbone version but not on PS4... perhaps the PS4 GPU does not support Hyperthreaded Ambient Intensive Refraction.
