And you went with the more expensive option? Well, I'd be the same way if I was in your position. :P As much as I love my 3DS right now... if I had to choose between owning just a Wii U and owning just a 3DS until the generation is over, I'd go with Wii U.

The more expensive option, but also the one with (A) more games I want, and (B) a setup I prefer, relaxing in front of a big screen. ;)

Excited and getting both! Will probably play mostly Zelda that day because my friends are coming over the next day (Saturday) and we're gonna play a bunch of 3D World together and then we're heading to Milwaukee to see The Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses for my 2nd time! :D Gonna be the best weekend of the year!

Great planning again Nintendo. The two biggest franchises launching AFTER the PS4 and the exactly same day as the X1. I'm sure these games will be great but aside hardcore Nintendo fans, nobody will even know these games are out

I very seriously doubt that a $500 console is going to stop anyone who was going to get Mario or Zelda from going out and buying them.

You and I will know for sure, as well as gamers on the internetz which are maybe 5% of the potential buyers. What about the not so dedicated gamers?

so? GTA V launched the same week as WW HD bundle and it still sold decently well for Wii U.
