I actually agree with ethomaz and know several people that are the same. When friends or neice and nephews come over there are 6 - 8 games we always play not to mention I'm an achievement whore so I'm always going back to old games, so it's important to me to have everything installed unless I never plan to put it back in my 360.

So yeah, this pisses me off, 10 or so games installed is small and is gonna be a nuisence.

This Is Great for 2 reasons... It will drive up the data storage need... And the data Transfer speed need... The more people will use DD the more had will go down (well that already happened, but the more the better)... But the more people will need bandwidth and data transferred... The faster ISPs will adapt to evolving needs....
I want a freaking 1Gbps connection before I retire ;p

You don't need to install the game on the PS3 to transer it on the Vita because Vita games have no option to install on the PS3. You do however need to be online when doing the transfer. Yes, the Vita has DRM but only when transfering stuff. Stupid content manager.

I think you are misunderstanding what I am talking about. On Vita, you stick the card in and then it kind of installs. If you later delete that to clear up space, it deletes everything. As far as I can tell, there is no way to delete all the patches and installed data and leave the saved data. The way that I have done it is to copy the saved data to my PC and stick the actual save data there (on google drive too), then delete the stuff on my vita so I can copy it from my PC if I need it

I was then talking about how on PS3 and 360, there are some games where you can't copy save games. The only way to move them is to transfer the entire contents of the console to another one using the special data transfer that both the PS3 and 360 have. I have tried to keep back ups of my consoles and on the PS3, you can back up everything, but if you restore, some of the data can only be used on the console on which it was created. On Xbox 360, there is no back up option that I have found, but you can copy data to other devices. However, certain save files (Mass Effect notably) can't be copied like on PS3. I hope that both of them remove this type of restriction so at the very least you can have control over your save files...

Well thats you and ethomaz and no doubt many others.  But is isnt me.  Hence I dont give a rats arse about this.  I only care about MY gaming experience.  Sorry, but I dont give a toss how inconvenient this is for you or others... why should I?   Thats your aming style, it isnt mine.  When Im done with a game then 90% of the time I am totally done with a game.

I'm also confused why Ethomaz continually "cares" about ONE features when he has zero intention to buy a ONE.

Well, it's just if you want to install the game on HD. But how about the mandatory installs? Any info on size or if a lot of games will use it?

Anyway, I think that anyone planning to go full digital will have a bad time this gen.
