Could ask you the same ^^^
But really stop trying to convince people. Everybody has opinions. I know why I like one and why i dont like the other and having 8 members is not one. In fact having 8 members in chat is chaotic and something steam has been able to do for a long time "for free".
The original Article that for some reason you didn't post.
Microsoft has confirmed that up to eight users can join an Xbox One party chat at once, the same figure as Sony disclosed earlier this week for the PlayStation 4.
"At launch, up to eight people will be able to join a Party Chat at a time on Xbox One," a Microsoft representative told Game Informer.
Xbox 360 party chat currently supports up to eight users at once.
Microsoft confirmed this summer that Xbox One users can have up to 1,000 friends, up from 100 on Xbox 360. Real names will not be supported on Xbox One at launch, though Microsoft may revisit this after launch.
The Xbox One launches in 13 territories across the world on November 22.
Well F2P online games are free, so I'm playing planetside 2 with no PS Plus sub while someone im talking to is playing cod online, so it works
Now that the thread title is readable, um... cool? I think we all expected 8 players, at least at launch. Who knows what kind of awesomeness they will update XBL with next gen like they did this gen.

I seem to know Jaywoods tender spots before he appears.

Not exactly what you said but that is ok. This is great news for PS4 as it has been needed for years being a huge complaint. Though posting the original article would have been better. Then afterwards write your opinion.

Lord, glad I wasn't the only one. OT: Good stuff, though I'd expect it since the 360 already allowed this. |
True. It was on the Vita though, thank goodness we can finally do this.

Well the thread was edited, so I guess I was pushed in the right direction. I will take note of that. Definitely, this is great news, but I hope with the cloud power Xbox One gets more chat users, like twelve to twenty. Eight is good enough for PSN.

No more for either please haha I dont know if youve been in a chat with 8 members or not but it is pretty annoying. Everybody just talks right over one another for the most part. Also people have seperate conversations so it is hard to tell exactly what is going on. 8 is managable but still can be annoying. I cant imagine any more than that.
