Ryse is definetly looking good, but it is to early to right off the ps4 power advantage.  I think it may be a few years before we really have a good look at what the consoles are capable of.  At this point Ryse looks to be amongst the best looking games of next gen consoles.

While I can't say the gameplay has me anything above skeptical at best, it certainly looks great, even if these are all from cutscenes. Are there any newly released gameplay screens?

I can't speak for Selnor but I'm not writing anything off. Hell, I don't really care what the PS4 can do one way or another as I don't have any plans on getting one. I'm just saying that for months all we heard is how big of a piece of shit the X1 was beacause of how weak it was. Now we are seeing people all shocked and shit because Ryse looks beast. Again, launch title so things will only be getting better for the ol' Boner.



I LOVE paying for Xbox Live! I also love that my love for it pisses off so many people.

A person not knowing what those screenshots are would look at them and probably ask what movie is it. They look just that good.

about the same for me.... if the ground level is ryse graphics and they improve on that... PS4 can have high end graphics it wouldn't move my choice.... I'd be pleased with XB1 quality and I get to enjoy everything else Ms has planned for it beside game or even games outside core ones, which won't be matched by anyone else this gen... so yeap XB1 will be unmatched for me no matter what more power the PS4 has... it can't compete just with that, Ryse and future games such as QB are already proving that

No, that's the native resolution.  The game, as it appears on the screen is upscaled to 1920x1080.

You can't display a 1600x900 image in full screen on a 1920x1080 screen without a lot of black space.  Either the console or the TV can upscale.  Because the Xbox Ine offers superior scalers to most TVs, they scale the image up before outputting the image to your TV.

Thus, the screen captures are 1920x1080.

the 360 one also for its time... you have to give it to MS when they don't fuck up they achieve a close to perfect quality, and know how to do more with less.... when they do it right they do it right...  too bad they have some major miss steps and usually it's what people keep in mind....
