PS3 will continue to sell very well. Especially since it will see more price cuts. 100m is realistic.

Great accomplishment. Hopefully it will reach the 100million. The momentum is definitely on Sony's side, so PS4 should mark the return of the king.

With emergent markets, another price drop and PS+, It is quite possible that the PS3 could hit 110 to 115 million

If only it was an adjustment, it would have made this thread more interesting. PS3 was most likly the most doomed console ever only to make the biggest comeback ever. Like Sony always say "we were never first, and we were never the cheapest."

Curious Sony havent announced 80m shipped yet isn't it...? They do love a good milestone announcement. I expect they might tell us in their financials in a couple of weeks?



I think the last one we recieved was a year ago now. And I think that was only Sony saying, "hey... remembeer that 70mil MS announced? Well we are there too"
