I think that about covers it, fire away. Some additional information should mr panello or any sony buffs be drawn to this thread, I am responding within capacity of the NDAs i have personally signed, my email, internet handle and home connection are not in any way directly linked to an identifyable connection between anyone you specifically know and myself, I make sure to delibrarly use misleading handles and details when signing up to online forums for that very reason. |

More than 150 less than 200, can't give you exact number.

lol i knew it, thanks for confirming, this shows nintendo was never serious about getting third party's on board, they were expecting lighting in a bottle again.

Number of shaders had nothing to do with getting third partys on board, and as Nintendo have shown, it has little to do with making great games either.
Have you had much chance to work on PC?
Has Valve's push to get more games on Linux actually helped developers with the porting process?
Do you see any genre becoming more popular due to the added capabilities of next gen hardware? I'm sure that there must be some genres that have been held back due to the limitations of our current systems.
For instance, the third person shooter genre did not really pick up until this current gen started. IMO, games such as Gears of War, Uncharted, Vanquish, & Dead Space would not have been nearly as fun and successful on previous gen technology. The previous generation consoles would have been too limiting to make these games any good.
Another genre that was able to vastly improve this generation was open world games such as GTA, Red Dead Redemption, Assassin's Creed, Just Cause, and Infamous.

i don't agree with this, if the orginial wii was half as powerful as a 360 it would have gotten way more third party games and established it self just like the 360, but they chose only to focus on motion controls.

Because of tools or hardware? Or both?

the main thing is the ram set up, using gddr5 is much easier then esram, and then you have a more powerful gpu with ps4.
