A little bit of a pooh this, I prefer having activated consoles. OTOH my nephew's PS3 got stolen and it was one on which my account was activated. Stupid thing was I couldn't unactivate the PS3 remotely, it has to be done on the console itself, which of course was impossible since it was stolen. Stupidly thought out policy that one Sony.

Not sure when they actually did this but it would be good if they let people know. I have 4 PS3s activated, I know 3 of them. I think the other one is an old one that broke that I didn't deactivate.

My guess, 3rd parties pissed at no DRM on discs this gen, so they won't have a bar of any true sharing of digitally distributed games, bad enough (in their opinion) that disc based games can be passed around like the town hooker.

Going down the same route as MS i guess. So your games on any PS4.

The digital games you purchase can be played on your PS4 system regardless of account and when you're away you need your account logged in to verify you own the game. What seems to be the problem?

This means the PS4 of the purchaser (the one he registered to his account). Anyone playing on that PS4 will be able to acess the game regardless of account.

There is no problem. Those who are disgruntled at MS loss of their Family Share feature because MS couldn't work out how to do it moan and make out like the exploit on PS3 which meant people bought 1 copy of a game and gave it to all their mates was some kind of a feature and that feature has been removed.

They see double standards as opposed to closing an exploit.

They say they will bring it back at some point, but i believe to start with its the same as 360 for now. 

Yeah I just looked. It seems it should be with us in Spring 2014 for The One. 

Sucks that Sony are taking stuff away while adding charging.
