Wedbush, the privately held financial services and investment firm, has said that Wii U sold around 55,000 units on the back of The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD in the United States during September. The company also stated that Wii U sales are up 79 percent month-over-month, but things are still not great for Nintendo’s console. Sales of the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 during September were expected to be 145,000 units and 175,000 units respectively.

55K? doesn't that mean it was overtracked on vgchartz?

Considering GTA V isn't on the wiiU... I think thats pretty good... Hopefully wiiU sales will continue to rise on the upcoming months just as how the 3ds sales rose

Vgchartz has it at 63k for September, so it might have been a bit overtracked. My guess would be that it was overtracked in the first 2 weeks of September.

Let's also not forget that Wedbush =/= factual information.

We've seen VGC doing a lot lot worse. 8k isn't that bad considering VGC reputation.
