People are already confused as it is. Why waste money?
I'd call this blatantly smearing Sony if it weren't for all the Dreamcast-related rumors I've already heard, even before today. The Vita functionality Sony's been pushing doesn't make them look innocent either.
For now, I'll just keep an eye open for any unusual ad campaigns from Sony.

no i wouldnt, i actually think before making a judgment.

When I was in Vietnam, you couldn't get a wii anywhere, the vietcongs were bought by Sony and were forcing the civilian population into buying the under power ps2 back in the 6th gen. It took about 50k freedom fighters and a promise from barack Obama's father the later king of china to stop this repulsive practice. finally in 2002 we were able to buy wiiUs and the evil Sony was defeated.

Bet reminder: I bet with Tboned51 that Splatoon won't reach the 1 million shipped mark by the end of 2015. I win if he loses and I lose if I lost.

No, you don't. That's clear from the recent Zelda U thread. |

Naturally, it doesn't make any sense for a company to do this now. However, it would make sense as a preemptive measure. In other words, if Sony expected the Wii U to do well (after all, the Wii did very well). The last tweet says that the contract runs from March 2013 to April 2015, so the preemptive measure theory is within the realm of possibility (day of agreement doesn't have to be the same day as the start of the "campaign"). What adds to it is that Sony ran PR priorly to the Wii U launch, repeatedly stating that the PS4 and PSV will be able to do everything that the Wii U can do, and their shift in focus to make the PSV a PS4 accessory instead of supplying it with its own games on a consistent basis. |
You have an interesting perpective.
But let's assuming that what you said is true, it would also mean that Sony was being completly naive. I mean, thinking that by just mimicking the Wii U Pad functions will be more than enouth to attract the Wii (U) audience, while offering completly different games (Killzone, Infamous, etc x New Super Mario, Mario Land, etc).

The existence of the PlayStation Move suggests that Sony is completely naive in exactly the way you represent. They simply mimicked the Wiimote and tacked on functionality to a bunch of games, with Sports Champions thrown in as a Wii Sports killer.

Here a little quote I want for those to keep memorize in your head for this coming next gen. By: Suke |
So, a contract, huh? Germany really doesn't have any laws about collusion? Because that would be illegal most places. I'll just choose to believe this guy who knows another guy on twitter, instead.
