Mario Kart 8 at #12 doesn't inspire a lot of confidence in the Wii U. Actually, is that the only Wii U entry? How does Donkey Kong usually perform in Japan?

A teensy bit out of date with #1, #3, #6 and #18 all being released in the past few days.

actually its pretty damn good that its number 12, there is no release date for it and out of the 11 games in the top 10 come out very soon. Pokemon XY was not even in the top 5 list last time back in Jan/Feb but we all kno pokemon kills everything and nothing can stop it. Its more of wats near than anything, ex i want X but im more hyped for SM3DW cuz its coming next month.

I guess that's true, then.  I thought it was due early next year.  As Kresnik pointed out, it should probably move up the list soon, as well.  Not looking good for the Wii U holiday line up, though.

Yeap, wiiu doesn't look good in japan, only if bundles help and SM3DW, maybe wii party u? other than that, i see psv tv+3ds will be the hott items to get holiday. It sucks for vita outside of japan unless they reveal a release date for TV this year before the holidays!

SM3DW doing good on Amazon japan, but i dont expect it being huge lke the west
