Rockstar pretty much deserved it. They took the good things in GTA IV and built on them, fixed the bad things, and completely got rid of the worst parts.

I'm too lazy to google that information...

Perhaps it has done that with digital sales included. It always seems to rank high in PSN downloads and the 360 version has been on sale for $10 on numerous occassions.

Not only is GTAV crushing the sales of GTAIV, but its doing it at full price.

According to Take-Two, & R* it did. VGChartz is a horrible data to go by, they still have GTA4 at 20mil despite the fact GTA4 is STILL selling as evidenced on their charts. & the charts says as of Sept 28th, we're damn near in the middle of Oct, GTA5 is easily pass 25mil on it's way to 30mil.
