Vita numbers are beyond terrible but expected with the new model coming out. Wii U however.... let's just hope you guys are right in thinking those bundles will drive sales otherwise, yikes. What's the next big retail release for Wii U in Japan?

Next week sure is going to be interesting with Pokemon and the new Vita model. I don't expect massive hardware numbers for Vita next week but hopefully it has a bigger impact on the long term (which it should along with VitaTV).

Is this a new all time low for Vita and Wii U?  I wonder what sales will be the week ending the 27th if people are already holding off on buying.  I really don't get Nintendo announcing hardware pricing/bundles so far ahead of when they actually release.  The week ending the 3rd is going to need pretty decent sales just to make up for the previous four weeks.

It's certainly an influence, but shirley you can see the difference between a remodel/new colours/$10 price drop which are going to show up in next week's chart; and two better-value bundles which are going to show up in the chart in 4 week's time.  We may well see some even lower lows from Wii-U over the next month unless Rayman and Sonic explode :P

the first one releases along with wii party U on october 25, aparently. don't know about wii fit U though.

Sonic is the week before.  Considering how well Sonic games did in Japan last gen, I don't really think it would be a factor either way.

Happy to see Legend of Heroes games not bombing so hard this week despite the terrible load times. Surprised to see JoJo 17th on Famitsu. The rest was pretty much expected, even Vita and Wii U numbers (sadly).

I don't know if Wii U bundles will do anything because bundles usually don't do much. Vita 2k is a big ??? because Japanese audiences may not care about the OLED screen, so it would make Vita 2k a much more appealing piece of hardware.

Horrifying for VITA and WIIU, it can be explained for vita even if I don't expect anywhere above 100.000 for the next week, but the WiiU is doing really terrible, it just had a great title..
PS: Am I the only one who never saw the Dengeki numbers ? I've seen the last week's topic but still the post is empty.

Yes, but all the WiiU bundles are the 31st.  At least according to Amazon.  I also just checked play-asia and they list the same.
