After all ASIC's are much more efficient at performing double SHA256 functions than GPU's ever could hope for. 

If I were you I would move into litecoin mining because it depends more on memory subsystems rather than integer performance. Plus AMD still dominates there too since they have the better memory system too. :P

If I was worried about electricity, I wouldn't be bitcoin or folding at all.
I still make money.

How would you know? Fact of the matter is, it's covering my costs of not only Bitcoin, but folding aswell and I get to donate a little to charity.

The fact that when your mining with an nvidia GPU, you also lose more money than gain and I've heard reports about that at bitcoind and plus Since ASIC's are coming into the equation it will only get harder to mine therefore it will mean less coins unless your an ASIC user so it's pretty likely that mining with AMD GPU's aren't profitable anymore. ^_^ (I honestly thought that this would be common knowledge among all bitcoin users seeing as how they keep up with the latest news. -_-)

Neither. I go with which ever provides me the best performance for my dollar. My last system had anNvidia GPU, my current system is AMD.

If you are low on cash AMD is better. If there's no limit on how much you can spend then nVidia wins, it's simple performance vs economy.

I don't know about you but nvidia is still getting higher profits than AMD is even with AMD having better price for performance.
