Let's say SEGA never left the game industry, the current big wigs were still in it, Atari never almost destroyed the gaming industry and is still in it, Steambox enters in, and so does Apple. Let's say each of these companies releases a console at the same time all with the same graphical capabilities. Based on which exclusives you like the most, who would you pick?

It'd be a close confrontation between SEGA and Sony for me... following closely behind, Nintendo. I'm not really interested in anybody else mentioned.

I would choose Apple because they are able to put a patent on FPS and more game designs so no other people can make a FPS game because its patented by Apple.

Nintendo and Sony... The reason they are still alive is because they know their customers (for the most part) and they will continue to do so... It is hard to get games with such perfect gameplay and storyline anywhere else but on Nintendo and Sony consoles, and Microsoft has the games with the best online multiplayer (arguably)

Sega with the dreamcast may have learnt their lesson if it didn't fail but its hard to say based on majority of their games and how bad they are (mostly except for the recent ones), Atari is just lolz, Steambox, you can play the games on PC, Apple console is double lolz (Will probably cost $5000 and with the hardware capabilities of the Snes)

Nintendo for the exclusives, and PC for having the cheapest prices for anything else.

My bank account would cry if there were that many competing consoles on the market.

Based off of old 1st parties I'd go with Sega

I'd be very broke, I can tell you that.

I'd be all Nintendo n' Sega. Gotta appreciate the actual gaming companies
