6gb RAM and a 5870, minimum?
Trololo?

It doesn't look all that good, does it?

Technically demanding and looking good are two different things which often come together but not necessarily.

True! But I expect them to come together from a big publisher.

A bit off-topic but I wonder what the reqs will be for Titanfall? This really doesn't look overwhelming...

Being that it's a next-gen title first and foremost, I'd expect something similar...

I don't see what the big deal is. These specs are more or less in-line with Watch Dogs.
People are just mad because they can no longer play new games in DX9 on XP 32-bit.

I think it's good for the PC market in general. NVidia and AMD will sell even more GPUs now, people will buy new hdds, more RAM, new power-supplies, perhaps new peripherals... everything. All thanks to the new consoles!

I'm happy that I've not bought any of this before this new gen kicked in full force, hah

why would it need 6gb ram? its alot for a game like this. Well..atleast what they have shown so far don't impress as much as battlefield do.

It's a Source game, to the best of my knowledge, so it shouldn't be that demanding. (It doesn't look demanding either. But I could say the same thing about CoD O.O)

I hope for some DF-articles bringing some light into the dark. I don't see a problem for PC gamers but I doubt they *waste* the ram.

Source gives hope.

At least it'll be more CPU-heavy than GPU-heavy like that... and it's easier to find a bang-for-buck CPU than a GPU IMO.
