AMD new Kaveri APU features the same Onion+ Bus found in the PlayStation 4. So it's pretty safe to say PlayStation 4 APU is Heterogeneous System Architecture.

It is odd that people so easily forget that AMD specifically cited the advances Sony had made and that it would inform their future technology.

Wasn't the PS4 confirmed to have HSA, even if it wasn't specifically called a vegetable? I thought I read somewhere that the CPU and GPU wouldn't have to wait on data being used by the other. Or was that just speculation?

So PS4 has the Garlic and onions secret sauce, was this the info that was the cause of AMD's recent NDA expiration?
