Forums - Microsoft - Xbox One Release Date: Day One Editions Slip at Retailers (Update: MS Denies)

Day One não é garantido apra Day One.

O cara da MS sempre nega algo para ser desmentido no outro dia kkkkkkk

BTW I will stop to talk in Portuguese .

This isn't news - this is common sense. If BestBuy has to ship 250k units from a warehouse, they may not be able to do it all in one day. Some people may get it on Friday, some may get it on Monday, and some may get it even later. Also, being so close to the Christmas season, all of the carriers will also be busy with other deliveries, so the may not even be able to pick up the orders even if they are ready to ship.

This applies to any product launch. The logistics are a nightmare. Heck, even Apple cannot deliver all of their preorders on launch day, and they probably have one of the best logistics networks out there.

EThomaz, I think you're confusing Day One Editions with Xbox One's available on Day One. Those are two different things.

Day One Editions were only available via pre-order and won't be available unless you've pre-ordered one. Microsoft is confirming that Day One editions will be available on the 22nd.

What Best Buy is acknowledging to some customers is that their pre-order, which is not a Day One edition, will not be available until a later date (Nov. 30 is their projected date).

You have Day One pre-orders and then you have regular stock pre-orders, all before the launch. Day One pre-orders and most regular pre-orders are guaranteed for launch, however not ALL regular stock pre-orders are.

Again... Best Buy is sending email saying some Day One Edition will be delayed to Dec 3rd.

Day One Editions preorders are not garantee for launch day anymore.

You're actually incorrect.  Best Buy is not saying some Day One editions will be delayed until December 3rd.  Best Buy indicated some would not be able to pick-up their console until November 30th.

Target has been saying since the console was available for pre-order that the release date was December 3rd.  Their availability date for the console is still December 3rd according to Target.  What that meants to pre-order buyers, who knows.

sounds more like a retailer shipping issue to me than an MS issue

another non-story.

gotta wonder who is starting all these latest negative rumours that keep being debunked almost immediately.

What story (if you want to call it that) broke first? This one or the one about Sony forcing bundles?

Funny how they came out in the same day.

a game purchase. Quiet as mice on the issue in here.

Same as trying to being quiet as mice about the forced Kinect purchase

Then again, you do need games for a games console lol

Quiet about what? They said from day one that Kinect was in every box.

Now the other company went out oft heir way to say it was not pro consumer to force things onto customers. That is what is funny about all this.

Not the companies, the people on this forum.

The same people making an issue with this acted as if Kinect pack in was non issue
