LOL seriously?.. no.. nah noway.. no seriously?.. hahaha!
People really now thinks a TV addon and a cheaper design vita at the same price can save the vita?..
Hahaha this is too much comedy.

Part of it is they've been waiting for the Vita 2000 to release ever since the announcement in early September, and part of it is Monster Hunter and soon Pokemon (and 3DS as a result for several tens of thousands) sucking the funds out of everything else.
You probably won't see the Vita, or really any other non 3DS console, bounce back until at least mid November at the earliest. They may even be snuffed out of the holidays entirely.

The Japanese strike me largely as a bunch of tech illiterates who care more about casing colors, smaller sizes, and battery life than display quality and resolutions among other things.
I somehow doubt the average console consumer there even knows what an OLED is.
Vita games sell well to Vita owners because they love the shit out of it. Ohters would love it too if they were willing to take the plunge but most just aren't willing. It's a good device that nobody wants.
Isn't OLED screen the bragging rights and now suddenly meaningless?

Did you quote the wrong comment or did you misunderstand?
There is nothing on my comment or the quoted comment that says anything about VITA TV and VITA slim saving the Vita. lol

I meant to quote your comment lol.. since you were the last to say would be owners dont mind the difference with the screens.. which i think they would given its the same price they are paying for a cheaper hardware vita.. and gonna miss out on the OLED OMG THE BEST SCREEN!
.. as for the vita tv comment.. i added its directed for anyone who thinks vita tv is actually the cause of vita sales going down coz they are waiting for it.. lol
Its 1000 yen cheaper LOL. And it has 1 gb internal memory(which you can now use) which means you dont need a memory card for smaller files, Longer battery life, a new usb port, more colors(unit not the screen) and theres also not that mch big of a difference with the screens.

The Vita is far from dead, and its only a matter of time until it takes off in Japan. The West is a different story and the small, but active install base will keep it alive.
A new model, Vita TV, PS4 connectivity and upcoming games like GE2, FFX/X-2 HD, MHFG means the device will remain significant and sooner or later it will break out just like the PSP did. Japan is handheld centric, in contrary to the west they buy a secondary handheld, and not a secondary home console. You dont have to be a genius to guess what that will be...
I love how some people are jumping on it, and writing it off, yet more and more indies and small devs are supporting it.
