Forums - General - Do you wear a watch? What device do you use to tell the time?

I'm a swiss, so of course I do wear a watch

I wear a swatch, but not the typical one made of plastic but one made of metal.

For which enterprise are you working? Or are you independant?

Yes I wear a fossil brand watch.
I also have a Fossil watch, but the battery ran down about a year ago and I just never got a new one put in.... I should really do that because whenever my phone runs down (I let phones run out before I charge them) I have a limited number of time telling devices. For instance if I am outside in my town there are only a few places you can actually see the church clock from sue to all the houses in the way, while in my room I only have 1 clock, which is on my CD player and is 4hours and 20 minutes slow at the moment (I never reset it after a power cut about a month ago)

i wear no watch(sorry)...i use clocks and my girlfriends cell phone

No need to be sorry. I'm just interested what the VGChartz members have to say. Clocks are great too. I have an inexpensive atomic clock that I set my watches by to test them. The watches I make retail for USD 1k-2k and they are all mechanical watches so they're factually not as accurate as the cheapest cell phone.

Can we see pictures? I like t see what other people design.

Yeah, my timepiece is a rolex

None, nothing. I'm not interested in what time it is other than when I have to go to work and the clock radio works good enough for that.

I love the Swiss. I am independent, or, I make my own watches (if you want to see, there they are). What that means is I design the watch (case, dial, hands) and then work with a manufacturer (in Switzerland and Germany) to have the parts made. The mechanical movement is Swiss (of course). I get all the parts and then assemble the watch and fine-tune the movement.

I got a difital watch Casio I get nervus without having a watch on my wrist.

Think twice before helping a friend in need.

Nope.

I used to have a pocket watch. Thing broke on me though, since then i've just used my cellphone, which is basically serves the same purpose but is less cool looking.

no i dont.

i use my cellphone to check the time
