What a joke...

I don't know why people are surprised when big online games have these issues, you just can't plan for everything, and even if you do you still miss things.

Granted this game did give 2 weeks for various reasons (I don't share the conspiracy theory of kupohead) and you might expect it to be in better condition (hell it could even be in better condition then prevoiusly), but whenever things go live, issues occur, it's not easy to account for everything even with betas like some people would have you believe.

that said I already sold this game.

Because Rockstar didn't do anything for the month and a half after the game printed.  They just want people to believe they did.  The two weeks after launch was nothing more than attacking used games sales for more money.  People don't believe me, but watch.  It's not working at all, but guaranteed the online will work fine within two days.  So coincidentally the online is going to be up and running quickly, but they couldn't have found that out during all the "testing" they've done with that extra time.

People are going to comment that Rockstar would never do something like that blah blah blah, but that just goes to show how much of a sucker those people are if they actually believe that.

It's a good theory but we have no way of proving it. I'd like to think RockStar wouldn't do that but who knows what there thinking. 

If this were EA they would be getting slammed...Rockstar gets off way too easy. The Sp has quite a few issues too. Great game but once again grossly overrated by the gaming media.

I was thinking this as well, but I didn't post it because Sim City was online only and it had issues at first.  It got fixed in two days and hasn't had a problem since though.

But what you said is true.  EA doesn't even have to do anything wrong and there will be people moaning about how EA is such a terrible company blah blah blah.  Or EA might have some minor issue and you'll see comments like "and this is why it's the worst company in the world," or other such stupid comments.  Rockstar or anyone else that's high profile does anything like this, everyone acts like a bunch of kiss asses. 

Now we know why Rockstar delayed the online. Reviews can't include the online segment so automatic huge critical success! I guess being smart isn't the same as being giving.
