“Something strange is afoot,” the PlayStation Europe tweeted this morning.

The tweet includes a link to SOMASystems.org, the same website the official URL for Amnesia developer Frictional Games’ next game redirects to.

Sony’s tease could hint at Frictional’s new game coming to PlayStation platforms, be it as an exclusive or multiplatform title. The PlayStation manufacturer recently teamed up with indie studios like The Chinese Room and TequilaWorks to create PlayStation 4-exclusive games like Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture and Rime.

The SOMA website was updated today with a case file for something called “Vivarium,” which contains the video below.

My god. The meltdowns over the Chinese Room making a PS4 exclusive were amazing to behold. I can't even imagine what will happen if Frictional makes one. I hope for the sake of the internet that it isn't.

That's some weird shit! But definitely not a game for me, tried to play Amnesia, but just really didn't want to :P
Good for people who love horror games though, Frictional Games really know how to make a game with a fucking creepy atmosphere. Brrr...

i just hope sony didn't pay for full exclusivity and only console exclusivity if it will be some kind of an exclusive game. would be not so cool of them to take it away from people who are the reason for frictionals success. 

€dit: maybe my post sounds as if i'm against investing in developers. i meant that i hope that sony didn't pay frictional money to make the gamey they work on exclusive on playstation if it will be excluisve. and if sony paid frictional to make a game for playstation which wouldn't release otherwise on any platform it's obviously good.

lol, those people will still be able to play in such an event. The game will still release on the PC.

I'm just saying, if games which would come to Pc won't come to PC because of Sony it will suck.  If they only "help" to bring it to their console everything is fine. 

What? First off we don't know if it's another Amnesia or not (I don't think so) so Amnesia fanbase shouldn't be upset because it will become exclusive. Frictional aren't tied to PC, they can develop for whoever they won't, maybe this time Sony hired them to make a game for PS platforms, totally natural. Also big 3 are going for exclusives all the time. Shouldn't Nintendo fund Bayonetta 2 because they take away from people on PS/Xb who bought 2 millions of copies of Bayonetta 1, and bought a lot of other games from Platinum Games. Shouldn't Microsoft get an exclusive game from Insomniac Games because they take it away from PS fanbase which pretty much had Insomniac as 2nd party, or fund Dead Rising 3, because the over 1 million people who bought DR2 for PS3 won't have a chance to play it on PS platforms? 

I may be upset because I most probably will be PS4 only next-gen, but to say it's not cool? Come on now. If they have the money they can do whatever they want, good for them, nothing not cool about it.

I'd be happy if Amnesia was released on PS4.
