I remember about 5 years ago, Minnesota started the season 9-0-0 and ended up not making the playoffs, iirc. Its odd.

I think about 2-3 years ago they were first in the NHL by around mid December and still missed playoffs that year too.

lol, that goal is hilarious. It's all over the NHL highlight reel. All the wrong things happening at the right time. I'm surprised that the goal Tuuka Rask let in from the center line isn't talked about more.
