I actually wouldnt mind if they just went back to just giving each team a point for a tie, but i guess that isnt main stream enough. i hate the shoot out because of the 5 minute downtime of the zamboni cleaning the ice

i hate almost every announcer in the NHL except for about 6-7 that cover the canucks. The rest just really get on my nerves, Dumb things down so much for people who dont understand, and make statements about plays that show they know very little about hockey. Its no wonder more and more NHL's are going into that business after retiring, Gotta get those morons out. and if the announcer doesnt fall into that category they Probably work for CBC and are to busy glorifying a team that hasnt performed in over a decade(leafs). the bias against western canadian teams by the CBC is terrible.

I hate it because of the number of times the canucks get a second game of a doubleheader,  with the first game running late, a long OT and then a shootout and we miss the first 5-10 minutes of the canucks.  the shootouts just take so dam long and to much time

I like Pat Foley and Eddie O for the Hawks but Eddie uses some phrases way too much such as, "for all you young hockey players out there" and "look at where his stick is. Its not on the ice. You have no chance playing the puck of you dont have your stick on the ice" and finally "gotta take away that time and space"

Our annoucners are pretty good most of the time..  some of the other media they have tho for between periods.. ugh i havent been able to watch that stuff for a while

Smith on the Coyotes is such a diver. Ulgh.

oh ya, we make fun of him every time he comes to van.  He dives and flops around.  He should play soccer.

I'd say deserved. Made no effort to avoid goalie, wasn't pushed into him. 

and STL show the AVS what's good. 7-3. 

Shaw got suspended because he made contact with him in the playoffs when he came out to play the puck... I didn't agree with the suspension because Smith held on too the puck wayyyyy too long and took up all the space behind the net. On top of which he totally sold it and was over exaggerating the contact. Then with in the first week of last season another player got suspended for the same exact thing with him (forgot who and what team). At a certain point you have to put some responsibility on Smith.

Anyway, the reason for my comment was Shaw was pushed from behind and made very little contact on Smith who was out of his crease and then the dive came in. Then smith went and bear hugged shaw before the play ended and cancelled out shaws penalty
