why do people make a 2ds comparison? XL is a larger version of 3DS, 2DS is a clam less shell design without 3D screen. Vita and new Vita model is the same with the new model having a gig memory/lcd screen/smaller. PSV TV is a completly different hardware that plays vita games as well as many other feats. You cant compare it. 2DS does everything a 3ds does. PSV TV doesn't expect play vita games. Its not portable, its no buttons/etc

People right here keep inventing this "CHANGED THE ORIGINAL CONCEPT RULE" who the fuck cares for the concept of the video-game? They have all the same goal which is play games! A hardware is a hardware, if it is the same, runs the same operational system and RUNS THE SAME SOFTWARE... It doesn't matter if you will play it on your coach, bed, toilet or train. That's what developers/publishers care about, putting their software on the hardware to sell.

If it's not counted together on the overall it will make the software sales awkward as who's gonna know which game sold for Vita and for Vita TV? They can run on the same software both!

Every function the Vita TV has the PS Vita also has:
Plays PS Vita softwares -> Both
Runs PS4 Remote Play -> Both
Runs movies on Netflix -> Both
Runs PSOne classics -> Both
Runs PSP Classics -> Both

Following this rule some people invented you can say that Kinect and PS Move software shouldn't count on X360/PS3 sales, cause they were not in the original concept of the consoles which were play your games with your controller, and can't even run if you don't have a Kinect/PSEye, so following the rule you guys created they should add different software sales for Kinect and PS Move Games.

And the 3DS was designed to play 3D games on a portable, so making a new console that doesn't play 3D games but uses the same software should also be separated as it changed the "Initial concept" which was play 3D games on the go.

It's name is VITA because it plays VITA game cartridges WTF??? Should it be called PS4 Mini? If it doesn't even run PS4 software directly???

And b*tch please you think Sony keeps checkin the week numbers on VGChartz that they need to make it's name like this just to add for VGChartz numbers?

WAKE UP! They're using the Vita Hardware and trying to sell it another way... As everybody keeps saying and saying PS Vita failed to give them big profit so they decided to use the same hardware without some of the expensive components of it like the screen so they can sell it for smaller price and not take a big loss on the R&D selling another type of console.

lol, slow down there buddy. You can combine them idc. Sony combines psp+psv numbers on there Quarterly reports. Im just giving my opinion. Sales count Vita as a handheld which PSV TV is clearly not. But if your so mad about fine. Add the numbers together lol
