I just got ICO and Rayman Origins, your argument is invalid.

You'll get some good games here and there.  Rarely.  Also Europe got Ico/SotC a few months ago as one game, because it is one game.  Not split in two different months so they can rob you like PS+ in the US.

The servers require maintenance, Free To Play games doesn't need PS+, such as World of Tanks, beside thad with PS+ you get TONS of free stuff (dont mind the discounts and beta programs)

€ 5 / month, its ridiculous cheap, hundreds of Euros* of content every year to start with.

Give me a break.  I'm not disappointed at all.  I just finished Saint's Row 3, X-COM: Enemy Unknown, and Deus Ex: HR and I still have Hitman: Absolution, Sleeping Dogs, Battlefield 3, and Spec Ops: The Line on tap, among others, and that's just the major games.  I'll probably play Tokyo Jungle next.  The Vita section also gets good stuff.

Beyond that, I find the idea that retail games are automatically better than indie games to be completely ridiculous.  I'm very much looking forward to Hotline Miami and I don't give a rat's ass if it came from Activision or if it came from a small team in someone's basement.

I agree with you, I have found no value in PS+ at all. I have owned games like XCom, BF3, Uncharted 3 and SR3 before they hit PS+, so all I've been getting its little Indy games like Oddworld, Machinarium and other b.s. I will say it can be a really good value to those who buy no games and just a subscription to PS+ every year, You can save a lot of money that way.

But PS+ is a joke to me and won't be renewing my subscription when it ends in October. And Sony wants me to pay for their highly flawed service come PS4, lol don't think so.

Don't take this the wrong way; but this is getting old. You repeat this same thing in every PS+ thread you go to. Please, we understand already. Stop this or relent from commenting. Don't ruin the enjoyment for the rest.

They are not charging for online.


To be fair you are correct, they are not currently charging for online - but what 1337 Gamer is refering to is the need for PS+ to play online on the PS4, which means they are charging for online for the PS4

 

This is a great deal though, for those who are more in the know than I am - if I were to purchase this while I already have a PS+ subscription until May would I be able to just add another year or would it be 1 year from when I activate it and therefore be better to wait until my current subscription ends?

it should just extend your time so you can just add it
