So, this game was under my radar until fairly recently. I saw some vids and some interviews and honestly speaking, it seems fucking awesome! Especially since I'm getting the ps4 at launch too. So the next gen version should be pretty good.  Finally, someone has made an open world pirate game! Pirates dammit, been waiting for this kind of game.I don't know though. AC3 was not that great. I got bored of it, I did like other ac games like 1 and brotherhood though. The ship battles were fun. So what do you think?Not sure if it matters, but I'm also def getting watch dogs day one. Maybe two ubisoft open world games would be overkill, but pirates dammit! The other game I'm getting is bf4. So it either will be watch dogs/bf4 or watch dogs/ac4.

From the PS4 gameplays I watched, it looks surprisingly great! I was never really interested in AC, never played any game from the series (yet to try 3rd from PS+) but Black Flag has my attention and I may buy it eventually for the PS4, Watch Dogs is higher on the priority list though.

I know it looks really good. The ship battles, diving and just the general vibe of piracy for this game. Damn you ubisoft!

Imo the ship battles lack the dept of real navel battles compared in those times, the ships drive like cars to me in AC4.
I drawed those sea battles when I was younger. When 2 ships approach each other, it goes realy slow beause they sail on windforce, only at the moment when these 2 ships reach each others rear the real truth imerges, thad is the wait worth, what makes sea battles spectaculair.

This arcade style navel battles has put me out if it, for me its like they dont understand navel battles, but thads just the way how I grew up with those ships.

Hmm, I was fine with them in ac3. Wait, have you played ac 4 already? How was it in general?

If it's anything like AC3 then I'll wait. it was freaking boring.

im a big fan of the franchise but this game has to be the least hyped of been for a AC game since the DS ones. I actually dont like pirates, so that is a turn off right there. They removed the brotherhood aspect which i enjoyed so that right there is another strike. the only positve thing is the naval battles which i did enjoy from AC3 but i dont know if I want most of my game surrounding that mode. I love the MP but considering the game is a month away and they barely showed anything im gonna assume its going to be a direct copy fo last year's MP, which is ok nothing was wrong with it but i have Revelations and 3 and both those still have a strong online community so i see no need to upgrade.

Think i might be done with this series.

No the ps4 demo thad also crashed during the presentation, shame on me but i quited ac after ac 1

I don't care for the AC franchise, but I want this one.

Ac2 was close to perfect. All the weren't all that great; although ac1 was very unique and impressive visually for the time. Ac3 was just crap.

Hopefully ac4 turns out good. Until reviews come in I'm not interested. Ac3 looked amazing from gameplay last year and it, well, just sucks.
