People dont understand why Rayman flopped? Really? No one is buying a Rayman game for 60 dollars, they didnt buy Origins for that price so what made people think they would do the same for Legends? THey will just wait for the price to drop and it will quickly and pick it up then. As for why the WIi U version is getting the most attention, it was exclusive to that system.Its one of the games the fans touted. Soon as it became multiplat they stopped touting it and its the definitive version. PS360 has alot of competition, a little game called GTA5 among others. Wii U doesnt have that problem(talking strictly Wii U only owners) there isnt a game nearly that big to compete with Rayman. W101? that did even worst. Pikmin3? didnt light up the charts

It should have sold because it's clearly a great game, a platformer, on a new system where all the 3.5m people that bought it over the last 10 months would (should) naturally be seeking out new games. It's easy to see this is a game that can easily get lost i the mix on 360, but should shine on WiiU, it's exactly what the userbase likes and wants. It's like an amazing FPS with brand recognition doing rubbish on 360.

Just in terms of platformers, there is NSMBU, NSLU alredy available and a new Donkey Kong soon to be released. Also, Pikmin 3, the Wondeful 101 and Wind Waker HD released roughly in the same time frame as Rayman Legends. I could go on but I think you get the point. To me, all of those games are more desirable than Rayman.

they havent shown anything cause there is nothing to show. WIi U specific? LOL, AC4 is a month away and if they havent shown anything by now there is nothing to show, its going to be a straight port with a map on the gamepad just like AC3 for WIi U, Id bet Watchdogs is the same

Prob isn't really wii u specific in the sense of the footage. The only versions of ac and watch dogs that were shown by ubisoft were PS4/Xbox One and pc. So the high end ones. They still haven't shown the ps/xbox versions either.

To be fair the people that want it will buy it, the people that don't, won't. At the end of the day the people that bitch are usually buying the games, what more can they do? Not their fault noone else is buying them.


I agree with this, which is why Nintendo users who like these types of games should buy another platform because these games won't get popular on a Nintendo console anytime soon.

and yet those games are STILL gonna be bought by the PS360 community(at least AC4 is) where the WIi U versions will be much more of wildcards.

That's the problem. Most Wii U owners probably have another console, similar to the Wii gen. The amount of people who only have a Wii U is most likely very small.
