During my play through of Revelations, that is when I was starting to lose interest. Never touched AC3 and don't plan to. If AC4 turns out to be a great I will eventually play. Until then I can't seem to get excited for the series anymore.

| PlaystaionGamer said: AC3 was literally one of the most boring and crap games i have ever played. 4 hours i stuck with it thinking how good 2 was and then i just had to give up. AC4 im not stuck on because it looks good (so did 3) and i can't trust the reviews.. They all praised AC3 and every year give Cod a 10 because it popular |
I felt the same man, payed 40 dollars for a stellcase edition, which is a good price for Brazil, I could not believe how boring and idiotic it was, played the whole game, 30 minutes a day, 30 scrutiating painful minutes a day. Really not my kind of game that one...
I thought AC3 was a good game, but it wasn't my favorite in the series. I thought the character was boring and it was'nt as epic as they tried to make it,but it was a pretty solid game. I'll get the next eventually, but not right away.
AC1 had decent gameplay but the rest are interactive movies. I feel treated like a retard when I play an Assassin's Creed game but they have great atmosphere, they suck you in. I will probably skip AC3 because I don't care about North American history but AC4 looks interesting. The historical (or mythological) Caribbean has a certain magic.
I actually loved the series with 1,2,Brotherhood and Revelations. 3 was just an awful mess of a game in every respect. Honestly one of the worst broken games I have experienced and have no idea how it managed to not be destroyed for it. I played the first four entries for hours, I could not even finish 3 with all the issues it had an nothing redeeming to note.
As for 4, I have zero hype or expectations and could easily let the series just go at this point. Shame as I really enjoyed Ezio trilogy especially.
